Starting a concierge business is very simple and it can be very inexpensive to start it too. If you would like to know more just keep reading!

Do you hate doing your chores and errands? Well I’m happy to tell you this, “everybody hates doing errands and chores” Why am I so happy? Well good question, because this is the reason behind a personal concierge service. What is a concierge service? Good question, a personal concierge service is doing a service such as running errands or doing chores. Especially the ones that nobody wants to do. Here we go!

Now this method is great for any age group.

Step 1:

Think of services that you would like to offer. Below is a list of different things you could offer:

Taking out the garbage

Washing dishes

Doing laundry

Basic cleaning (clothes, junk, dusting, etc...) That sort of stuff

Washing windows

Walking dogs

Giving dogs a bath

Pulling weeds

Planting plants

Delivering groceries

Delivering food from restaurants

Pet-sitting

Waiting in line for anything

Event planning

Gift buying

Picking up dry-cleaning

Running miscellaneous errands

Picking up mail

Setting reservations (for dinner, golf, anything that requires reservations)

Interior decorating

Grocery shopping

Locating hard-to-find items

Wow, see all of those services that people need daily? Most people would rather pay you to do these things for them. Just so they don’t have to. Now this is a pretty good list of course there are 1000’s of different services you could offer. Just be creative and you will prosper. Just pick as many services as you want and put them on a flyer. Then just go door to door and hand them out. You’ll get a lot of people calling you for your services. As long as your prices are fair you will get customers trust me. Make people pay you by the week.

Step 2:

Make spreadsheets on a piece of paper for each customer.

Summary:

This business doesn’t require any money or very little depending on your services. Most of the time your customers will have the materials you’ll need. If they don’t charge them for the materials just don’t try to up the price for the service too high or they’ll do it themselves. This is an excellent way for teens to make money especially if you live in an apartment, town home, or the best of all condominiums or condo’s. At my aunt’s condo one of the kids takes out everyone’s trash, cleans dishes, light cleaning, and walking dogs. I went up to him and asked how much he makes, well get ready! He makes an average of $650 a week no-lie. Now of course these are upscale condos on the beach here in Florida. So he can charge a little more than normal. Plus all the money he makes off of it he puts to college tuition. Now that is amazing way to get money for college huh?
